The buffet breakfast by the river in the morning was a great way to start my day. The pool area was a peaceful and relaxing spot for soaking up the sun and enjoying a Caipirinha. I had a wonderful experience with the massages at the spa. The owner was incredibly helpful and provided us with helpful advice and recommendations for local attractions, bars, and restaurants. This hotel was great value for money, with the room being spacious and cleaned daily. The location was convenient, with just a short 15-minute walk along the river to town or a quick 5-minute taxi ride. I appreciated the quiet location and the fact that the owner spoke English, which was helpful for us with our limited Portuguese.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Bambu Bambo. The location was ideal, after spending 3 days in the very busy Sao Paulo. It was an extremely relaxing place to stay, the pousada was of a very high standard, especially the pool and the garden area which we had a lovely breakfast each morning. All our needs were catered for, particularly by Netto, who was extremely attentive. We loved the place so much that we stayed an extra night and reduced our saty in Rio de Janeiro. I strongly recommend this place to others.

Staying here was soooooo relaxing that we stayed an extra night! We were sorry to go, but there were other things to see in BR. Everyone with some time to spend in BR should visit Paraty and stay at this hotel. The owners are one of a kind and go out of their way to help you in any way they can. Book in advance, especially in holiday season! The breakfast is served in an amazing setting. I also recommend to take a massage!!

I recently stayed at a charming inn in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature. The covered area outside by the river was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious breakfast while taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The room was simple yet excellent, providing a comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities. The friendly and helpful hosts went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.

The wifi connection was a bit unreliable at times.

A lovely small hotel, with a nice staff who will do their utmost to make you feel at home. A short walk from the village Paraty, about 20 minutes, on a bike it is just a few minutes. Nice green and quiet area next to the river. I was travelling on my own and I felt realy at ease in this place.

The little fridge made a lot of noise when cooling

The gardens are gorgeous, the pool area is peaceful and 100% the staff make this place what it is, they are more than happy to cater to your every need and I felt like I was in their home rather than a Pousada.

My only complaint is the bed wasn't the comfiest and not enough pillows.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the service and amenities. The staff pay great attention to detail and ensure that the rooms are kept very clean. The hotel is located in a very safe area just outside the historical center of Paraty. The beautiful gardens provide a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere.

All was perfect during my stay at this hotel.

I was in Paraty to attend a wedding and was very glad to be a bit more in the countryside than right bang in the middle of town. Bambu was perfect. Superb staff and advice, top food and restfulness, really really lovely place to have breakfast. Overall a better choice than in the town - yet in easy striking distance, especially for someone like me who loves nature.

Tricky to find anything, On first arrival in Paraty I thought it was too far out of town - c 15 mins nice walk up the river. But once I got used to Paraty (ie in 4 hours!!) I realised that it's good to be a bit outside as paraty can be very crowded.

The facilities are great. Lovely pool and setting. The owner is also really helpful and gave us delicious coffee and lifts into town. Also gave us honest advice about activities in the area.

The location was the only downside. It is a fair walk into the town centre and too dark to walk back at night which means you have to take a $R15 taxi back.

Beautiful property, clean and comfortable rooms. The pool and gardens were stunning. Location was convenient to attractions, just a short drive away.

The staff was unhelpful and at times rude. We had issues with the air conditioning and it took multiple requests before someone came to help.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the value for money was excellent. I couldn't believe the reasonable prices for such a well-maintained establishment. Secondly, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From their attention to detail to their friendly and helpful nature, they truly made me feel welcome. The basic amenities were well-maintained, and my room was kept very clean throughout my stay. The internet connection was reliable, and the air conditioning was a welcome relief on hot days. I also must mention the breakfast served in the garden next to the river with stunning views. It was not only a picturesque setting, but the food was delicious and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxed.

The Bambu Bamboo Pousada was a great choice. The place is beautiful, the room had everything we needed, the staff is great and the owner (Ben) is fantastic, always willing to help with a smile upon his face. The breakfast is fantastic, in front of the river side. We defitively loved the place.

The only thing we didn´t like was the temperature of the shower, which could be a little bit warmer.

We had the most fantastic stay at bbp. The manager Netu was more than obliging, he really made our stay. He made us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. We treated ourselves to a massage with Jose, which proved to be excellent and great value for money. Breakfast by the riverside was very special.

Unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn't working.... But the steam room and the sauna were :)
